As a person of color, I know that some medicines and diseases affect me differently than Caucasian people. Prioritizing diversity in clinical trials ensures that we are getting options that have my race in mind. We have to sign up to be a part of clinical trials, spread the word about the opportunities, and we must support companies that embrace the diverse tapestry of this country within clinical trials.
