As someone allergic to seemingly the entire environment, diversity in clinical trials is significant to me. I wish that everyone can receive the care I receive for my allergies, which has included an allergy test and specifically made allergy shots for me. Those allergy shots allow me to live and go outside without bad reactions or being uncomfortable. Everyone deserves to be able to feel this way, no matter their race or gender. This is why is it so important to me because I have seen the impact it has had on my life and it is only right that everyone has an opportunity to have the same impact on theirs.
